1. Introduction
Welcome to ReTake, operated by ReTake LTD. By visiting or purchasing from our website (www.letmeretake.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. These Terms apply to all users, including individuals and businesses, who interact with us through our website or engage in transactions.
2. Your Agreement
By sending your clothes to us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. You also confirm that the items you are sending are your property, or that you have obtained permission from the rightful owner to send them. We reserve the right to refuse to purchase any items or to modify any terms of sale at any time.
3. Ownership and Rights
Ownership of items is transferred to ReTake upon receipt and acceptance at our premises. By sending items to us, you confirm full ownership of the items and waive any rights to dispute how they are processed, priced, or sold. Items sent without prior consent or deemed to breach these Terms may be rejected, with no obligation on ReTake to return them. Furthermore, you agree not to send any dangerous or hazardous materials, including those prohibited by UK law.
4. Process of Selling to Us
4.1 Requesting a ReSeller Bag
ReSeller bags can be purchased through our website at the price displayed at the time of purchase. Additionally, we may distribute bags during events or other in-person promotional activities.
4.2 What You Can Send to Us
Only items that meet our minimum quality standards and fall within the accepted categories will be accepted. Please ensure that items are clean and in good condition, as those that do not meet these standards may be rejected or donated to charity.
The following are the accepted Categories
- Women’s Clothing: Hoodie & Sweatshirts, Jeans, Shirts & Blouses, Tops & T-Shirts, Trousers, Skirts, Shorts, Activewear, Jackets & Blazers, Coats, Dresses, Playsuits & Jumpsuits, Knitwear, Loungewear, Suits.
- Men’s Clothing: Hoodie & Sweatshirts, Jeans, Shirts, Tops & T-Shirts, Trousers, Shorts, Activewear, Jackets & Blazers, Coats, Knitwear, Loungewear, Suits.
- Footwear: Trainers, loafers, formal shoes, boots, sandals, flats, heels, platforms, wedges.
- Accessories: Hats, gloves, sunglasses, belts, purses, bags, ties, wallets.
The following are the Unaccepted Items:
From 1st April 2025, we will no longer accept any type of scarf. If you ordered a ReSeller Bag before this date, you can still include scarves, but any sent after will be rejected and not paid for.
- Baby clothes, children’s clothes, wedding dresses, swimwear, underwear, lingerie, scarves, jewellery, watches, technology, homeware, bric-a-brac, counterfeit items.
4.3 Returning Your ReSeller Bag:
Each ReSeller bag has a maximum weight limit of 10kg. You can return the bag via our returns portal, using the shipping service of your choice.
As detailed on our Returns Portal, you have 60 days to return your ReSeller Bag to us from the date of purchase.
4.4 ReSeller Bag Lost or Damaged During Shipping:
ReTake is not liable for any loss or damage to ReSeller bags or their contents during transit. Customers are advised to retain proof of postage to qualify for compensation of £30 per bag. This compensation is offered as a goodwill gesture and does not constitute an admission of liability. ReTake is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of expected earnings or personal use of the items. 5. How We Process Your Items
5.1 Quality Control
Items are sorted into categories (clothing, footwear, accessories) and checked to ensure they meet our minimum standards. We evaluate items based on the following quality tiers:
- Average Condition: Slight fading, minor defects, some wear.
- Great Condition: Minimal wear, no major defects.
- Brand New Condition: Unused, pristine condition.
We ask that all clothing and footwear sent to us is cleaned before it is sent to us. We will wash everything once processed, apart from items listed as brand new to keep original labels intact.
5.2 Weighing and Selling Price
We purchase clothing and accessories based on weight as measured by our calibrated, trade approved scales. While we strive for accuracy, discrepancies may arise compared to other scales. Prices as of 7th October 2024 are as follows:
- Clothing and accessories: £5 per kilogramme.
- Footwear:
- Average Condition: £2.00
- Great Condition: £4.00
- Brand New: £6.00.
All payments are final once processed, and sellers waive any disputes regarding weighing discrepancies upon agreeing to these terms.
5.3 Payment to You
Once delivered at ReTake, your ReSeller Bag payment will be sent within 7-10 working days, this may be quicker dependant on volume of orders to process. This payment will be made via Revolut Payment Link and sent to the email address submitted with your order.
The Revolut payment link will remain valid for 7 days from the date it is sent. If the link expires, please contact hello@letmeretake.com. We will verify that the payment has not been claimed and resend the link if appropriate.
If we reject any items (due to not meeting quality standards or accepted categories), those items will be donated to charity. Rejected items will not be returned to you.
6. Photography and Listing Items
All items are individually photographed, with any defects clearly highlighted in the images. While we aim for accuracy in all product listings, occasional errors may occur, and we reserve the right to amend listings as necessary. The details of the listings or the item itself may be updated at our discretion.
7. Selling Our Products
We will determine when to sell items, and there is no set time frame for selling. The pricing of items will be based on factors such as quality and brand, and this is entirely at our discretion. We may also choose to sell items through third-party marketplaces, but you will not incur any selling fees.
8. Taxes
You are solely responsible for ensuring the payment of any applicable Value Added Tax (VAT), sales tax, or any other similar taxes or levies arising from the sale of your items. This includes but is not limited to any taxes due on the proceeds from the sale of your items or any other transactions related to your sale. You agree to comply with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including the timely submission of any required tax returns and payments to the appropriate authorities. ReTake shall not be liable for any tax obligations that may arise in connection with the sale of your items, and it is your responsibility to ensure that all tax-related obligations are fully met.
9. How We Donate Clothes to Charity
Items that do not meet our quality standards will be donated to charitable organisations. The specific charities we collaborate with may vary over time, but we work with reputable organisations to ensure that all donations are distributed responsibly and in accordance with their intended purpose. We are committed to ensuring that donated items are used effectively, contributing to causes that benefit those in need. ReTake makes every effort to guarantee that all donations are handled with care and integrity, in alignment with our values and the best interests of the recipients.
10. Returns Policy
If you are not fully satisfied with any products purchased from us, you have the right to return them within 30 days of receipt. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as when it was received, unused, and in its original packaging, including any labels, tags, and accessories. Please ensure that the item is securely packaged to prevent damage during the return process. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions. Refunds will be processed in accordance with our returns policy once the item is inspected and deemed eligible.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes, claims, or issues arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, including their validity, interpretation, or performance, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom. By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to the jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objection to the venue or jurisdiction.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
12.2 ReSeller Temporary and Permanent Closure Policy
We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently suspend the ReSeller Bag scheme at any time. While we will always aim to provide at least 24 hours’ notice of any suspension, this may not always be possible. Any updates regarding scheme availability will be communicated via our website and social media channels.
Please note that any suspension of the scheme will apply only to new ReSeller Bag orders. Existing orders that have already been placed or are currently being processed will not be affected. These can still be returned to ReTake and will be processed and paid for as usual.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
ReTake is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). By using our website, you consent to the use of cookies and tracking technologies as outlined in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. 14. Limitation of Liability
ReTake will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that results from the use or inability to use our services, unless such loss, damage, or injury is caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct on our part. This exclusion of liability does not affect your statutory rights under UK law.
15. Force Majeure
ReTake will not be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, acts of war, changes in law, government regulations, or other events that prevent or hinder the performance of our services.
